Understanding them is essential before working with data, formulas, or charts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Rows<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rows<\/strong> run horizontally (from left to right).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>They are identified by numbers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Row numbers appear on the left side of the worksheet.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Example: 1, 2, 3, 4\u2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you move across the sheet from left to right, you are moving along a row.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Example:<br>Row 1 contains cells A1, B1, C1, D1, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Columns<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Columns<\/strong> run vertically (from top to bottom).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>They are identified by letters.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Column letters appear at the top of the worksheet.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Example: A, B, C, D\u2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you move down the sheet, you are moving along a column.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Example:<br>Column A contains cells A1, A2, A3, A4, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3.
