Almost every task in Excel begins with typing information into cells.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Types of Data You Can Enter<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Excel allows you to enter different types of data:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Text (Labels)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Names<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Addresses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Product titles<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Headings<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Example: <strong>Ali<\/strong>, <strong>Sales Report<\/strong>, <strong>January<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Numbers (Values)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prices<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quantities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Percentages<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scores<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Example: 500, 25.5, 10%<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Dates and Time<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>01\/01\/2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>24-Feb-2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>10:30 AM<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Excel automatically recognizes date and time formats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4.
